You can use a catch stitch on a lot of different projects, to gently secure something you want to be held in place. In this tutorial we show you how it's used to secure the sleeve facing on the Jessie Coatigan, and also the hem facing if you're making a lined Jessie. It's also useful for the Francine Jacket too, as it's a pro tailoring technique!
